CLEANINGS CARRIED OUT

Cleaning the coastline in:

Isla Mocha, Región del Bío Bío, Chile

Isla Mocha fue reconocida como el destino emergente 2017.

It is a treasure crowned by the Mocha Island National Reserve, with trails that cross the native forest, in almost half of the surface of the island.

It has a variety of birds and endemic animals, some in vulnerable state.

The Isla Mocha project consisted in removing the waste that accumulates in the north of the island, coming from the ocean through the marine currents. Separate the waste at source and transfer it to a recycling plant for a subsequent reuse and manufacture of our surfboard: mocha.

For this activity we have the support and collaboration of:

CLEANING THE COASTLINE IN:

Isla Chañaral, Región de Atacama, Chile

Isla Chañaral is the largest marine reserve in the Humboldt Penguin National Reserve:

1 of the 15 Global Hotspots and declared Hope Spot by Mission Blue in 2017.

It is a unique ecosystem treasure, due to the high level of endemism and biodiversity of the marine and terrestrial species that exist in the area, some in a vulnerable state and in danger of extinction.

It has an area of 6.55 km2, located in front of Chañaral de Aceituno.

The project of Isla Chañaral consisted of removing the waste that accumulates in the coastal edge, coming from the ocean through the marine currents. Separate waste at source and transfer it to a recycling plant for a subsequent reuse and manufacture of our surfboard: Chañaral.
